This should have been factored into the Upgrade Costs when you replaced the NB’s. When you fitted the USB Device did you install any software that came with it? If there is no expansions slot/s then this isn’t an option and depending on the type of Expansion Slots if fitted there may not be a plug in Printer Port Adapter or the ones available may not have the required drivers to work with the OS you are using. Then depending on the type of NB you may be able to use any fitted Expansion Slots to fit a PCMCIA/Cardbus Printer Adapter but this all depends on what the NB has as it’s base features. If however it is you need to contact the Software maker and buy a new solution from them to run with Vista. Some of these devices are not overly compatible with Vista so you need a USB to LPT Adapter from a different Maker as the Chip Set may not be completely compatible with Vista. You may need a different USB-LPT Port Adapter.
